Jotkut jutut ovat niin isoja, etteivät sanat riitä alkuunkaan.

Belle & Sebastian paljastui tänään kiinnitetyksi Ruisrockiin. Vaikkei festari sinällään ihan hirveästi kiinnostaisikaan ja elättelen toiveita yhtyeen buukkailusta myös seuraavan viikonlopun Meltiin, vietin aamupäivän innosta täristen, kykenemättömänä keskittymään mihinkään muuhun. Muutamassa vuodessa yhtyeestä on tullut minulle se kaikkein isoin, kaunein ja tärkein – se, johon turvaudun maailman tuntuessa pahalta ja se, jonka kaivan esiin parhaimpina hetkinä. Se, josta löydän loputtomasti lainattavaa ja kerrottavaa ja se, josta tykkäämistä on silti vaikea edes pukea sanoiksi.

Jos musiikkia on mahdollista rakastaa kuin toista ihmistä, en epäröi kohteeni kohdalla. Jokainen levy on osa minua.
